I didn't know the U.S. was taking courses! I'm sure we're holding in there with a solid B average....one flubbed test won't kill us.

No as a matter of fact, get ready for a real bumpy ride pal, for we are just getting started eh? Yeah pal we are, it takes a whole lot more time for a society of this size to all turn to the same page but we are doing it right now more and more. And the one good thing is we are learning from our mistakes and we are doing something about it. Some people are in denial, but regardless once the majority starts pushing forward the others will follow as well. Like usual people, (humans are creatures of Habit ) and over here we love our country and we love our lives, and all and all no matter what we stick together eventually, and we don't need to believe in the same god we just believe in our country and that is what we live and die for our country and our freedom! so once we all agree that we have a dominant common denominator we will together as a team destroy anyone or anything that threatens our country and our people, you better believe that! United we Stand! USA

Failing in every arena. Even the question fails by a grammatical mistake. Failing. Failing in intelligence, morals, hope is failing and will continue as long as the people are incapable of telling right from
wrong or of possessing critical thinking skills. Truly too many of these posters proves it undeniably. We are doomed.

The question is, failing in what?

Failing to stop terror, despite the massive investment of human and material resources in warfare, failing to solve the world's problems despite intervention in the Middle East, Africa, SE Asia, etc., failing to stop climate change because of the vested corporate interests which put short-term gain before the welfare of the planet, failing to gain respect on the world stage because of the above.

Above all failing to impress people like me who live in the UK and are fed up with the so-called 'Special Relationship' between the British government and the US.

Is the U.S. failing... maybe... but you need to be a whole lot more specific to get an accurate answer. Failing... at what?
