This is for a 7th grade project - can't come from a kit. There is a matchstick model available but comes with Big Ben and $$$. So if you have any ideas please let me know. Is there a website that offers "blueprints" ? Please let me know! Thanks:)

I would find a good picture and make one out of strong, thin cardboard. (Like shoeboxes). And glue it all together.

This is a kit;but it has the plans on how to construct the Arc de Triomphe. Maybe the company would send you the instructions.

Or print photos of the arc, use a textured clear paint(textured Matte medium is the product name) paint over the photographs-the photo will show through and give it a three dimensional feel then glue the texturized photos to a box you've cut into an arch. It's sort of a decoupage look. Hope that helps.

Obviously you will need some photos. You can then make a model to scale. One of the easiest thing to work with in terms of model making is to use wax (off white) from your local hobby shop. You can carve various features using various tools. Plaster of Paris could also be used. Good luck - it is a wonderful piece of architecture and symbolism.
