This is for a 7th grade project - can't come from a kit. There is a matchstick model available but comes with Big Ben and $$$. So if you have any ideas please let me know. Is there a website that offers "blueprints" ? Please let me know! Thanks:)

Hey Kendra,

Sounds like a fun project. You can use something like Polymer clay - which you bake at low temperatures to harden it. But that will let you model it until you feel good about it. You can take pictures (see web sites below), and use a pair of Dividers to take measures from point to point. That will give you approximate dimensional proportions. Then you could take each part and apply it using the polymer glue (watered down clay). So you make all the pieces, glue it together, if the clay is the right color to begin you don't have to color or stain. There you have it. My kids built an Anastazi Native American village this way, and it is a real good medium for this type of model.

Another option would be paper machete
