Get a job and stop trying to sue people over nothing.

I think the better question is, why would you want to sue? It appears that you picked up the package, examined it, and bought it. If you did not notice that it was expired, then it is partly your fault. It is not the sole responsibility of Ranch 99 to ensure that you don't make poor purchasing decisions.

If you are really so upset that you are thinking of suing them, maybe a better solution would be to go back to the store, and explain to them that you did not notice that they were expired when you bought them. I'm sure they will be happy to exchange them. This way, your problem is solved without involving the complex legal system. If the only reason you wanted to sue them was to get some monetary benefit, and not to solve your problem, then you are part of the problem that is tying up our courts with frivolous lawsuits.

ps. The question should have been worded, "They SOLD me date expired Sun-Maid Raisins"

even if you won, they would only have to refund your purchase price or give you a new fresh package of raisins, and then only if you tried to return the raisins you bought right on discovering that they were past the date.

For 13.. you seem awfully eager to avoid work by suing. Go to school, get a job and quit trying to screw the system.
Raisins - jeez. Moron.
