Food, wine, toys, clothing, weapons, etc.

It's really not that different from now, except there were probably less name brands and no real electricity.

Wine, cheese, prostitutes, slaves, pottery, art, beer(yes it was around then),livestock,real estate and probably they had open markets for food and grain.
