An old friend( about # years) of mine just called me up and started talking to me about some company that pay well. He was saying how just go to the meeting and its a good company, a good way to make money. What through me of was that this was my friend and it sounds to me he is trying to get me into some scam. He said how you get paid for inviting people to the meetings, booking people, and etc. I am confused he then said we should hang out. I feel aqward is he trying to be my friend again or just business??? When we spoke on the phone he went back talking about the business which completely threw me off. What do you think???

I've heard of those things before, the more people they get hired into the business the more of a bonus they get for recruiting people, but they end up getting screwed in the long run because they really don't make any money. That seems to me like the reason for him calling you.

ya no you don't have to be the first to assume things so badly...but practically everybody is....&& that business thing just sounds so unlikely..so yeah he isn't really trying to be a friend...sounds like he is using you to try && get some money...how wrong...GOD BLESS

He could be trying to be nice to you to get you into the business. Idk, maybe there's something in it for him. I would personally not give it a try (being skeptical and all) but it might be a good idea to go with caution just to be sure.
