i would rather have common sense than book smarts because most people with book smarts have no common sense...!!!

Honestly, I would take book smarts. I know many people that are very socially capable but have not amounted to much, but I have had several professors that were awe inspiring book smart, but made you wonder how they got their pants on in the morning.

I wish more people were socially capable so they would stop acting like retards in public, but I live in LA so you can see why I would think that way.
