I think the sickest and grossest thing on the earth would be the little regard we give to each other. Caring folks make for a better society all the way around. If we put more effort into building folks up instead of tearing them down over and over (like picking a scab - till nothing but a scar is left) I think we could all start to heal a nation as a whole. Caring for each other would then hopefully translate to caring for the enviroment, and not letting the almighty dollar bill get in our way.

I'd have to say that the sickest grossest thing on earth is hate. It's sad that hate is part of the human nature. People hate each other based on race, jealousy, stereotypes, etc. There are many other sick, gross things on earth of course!

*rape
*crime
On a lighter note, I must admit that Micheal Jackson, boogers, bugs and O.J. SImpson are sick and gross!

Since Child abuse of various kinds have been mentioned...
I will go with animal neglect, abuse and the meat industry.
Abattoirs and people who enjoy working in slaughter houses.
Killing animals, gutting them, bleeding them out, skinning them and carving them up to display in a store for happy homemakers to bring home. Then they heat up the flesh to where it's 'safe' to devour the animal and people enjoying the flavour of the cooked carcass.
To me that's sick and gross... eating something that had it's own family and mobility.
(I used to eat meat until I sat and really thought of where it came from...seeing the process first hand is also shocking.)

Neo-con's sending our soldiers to die under the guise of a war on terrorists, while those same neo-cons steal the funds allotted by Congress for said troops through the use of corporate fronts like Haliburton. It is an act of ethical depravity that allows elitist big business cronies of the Bush administration to steal billions of tax dollars, while pushing the United States to the brink of WWIII. It's comically labeled "war profiteering" and is on par with the worst mankind has been able to act out. These people could reach the depths of nazi Germany if this policy isn't stopped.
