It is the sense of atmosphere from being part of a group, the excitement from the contests and the appreciation of the skill involved.
What interests me is why people do not like the same sport/activity - mainly it comes down to what they are familiar with and appreciate/value. Some like football and other get the same feeling from chess.

Becuz it's actually fun, well depending on which sport you're watching and you learn something new everytime!

I love to play sports.
One of my greatest joys is to watch others who excell or who have mastered the sport.
Just my thing.
