I have an anime website called AnimeND, for Anime Next Door. I was going to buy the domain name for it today, and guess what? Some of those advertising company (the search engine people) bought it, ON THE DAY I WAS GOING TO REGISTER IT. I don't know why they would torture me like this.. I was planning on buying it for over 6 months, I was just getting the html ready. Anyways the domain name I was going to me was "animend.org". BUT since that is now taken I need a new name for my website, I asked all my forum moderators and personal friends, but none of then have any good names. SO I was just wondering if you guys have any good suggestions. The website is for anime downloads and forums. If you want you could visit my temporary site at "animend.tripod.com." So if you have any good suggestions please tell me. I would prefer it to be 10 characters or under, and .com or .org would be ok with me. Before you post please check if it's available here at "www.checkdomain.com." THANKS

How about anime-nd.com? Actually, that way your domain reads better. With your original name it also could read as "anim end" :)

I agree with Mommabear about anime-nd.com. Incidentally another good website for you to *check* available domains is: http://whois.domaintools.com/anime-nd.com
As you can see, you just add the url you want to look up to the end of http://whois.domaintools.com - and anime-nd is available.
You could also consider the .net version of the domain - sometimes the url looks better with a .net than a .com
