Fox News and it crew of misfits spread more misinformation than any other source on TV. Other media sources may slant to the left but they don't misinform their viewers to the extent Fox does. It is really the worst form of yellow journalism I've ever witnessed. Fox viewers are being dumbed down by this network. There are so many sources to back this up but conservatives will never hear about them because all they watch is Fox. I pity them.

The real answer is that they are no kind of journalists. They are flagrant propagandists

Journalists expose reality, Fox seeks to obscure it. Bill Moyers said that news is what people want to keep hidden, and everything else is publicity. Fox is beyond publicity like Chaney is beyond Diplomacy.

Are you really that disjointed? This is not a spin or a misrepresentation of his (Phil Jones) words but exactly what he said in his interview. "So, in answer to the question, the warming rates for all 4 periods are similar and not statistically significantly different from each other." The periods he's talking about are 1860-1880, 1910-1940, 1975-1998 and 1975-2009. We've been led to believe that the current warming trend is unprecedented, hell that's half the reason for all the debate over the MWP. So if the rate of warming from 1860-1880 was not statistically different from the rate of warming from 1975-1998 (a period ending in the second warmest year in recorded history) and 1975-2009 how is possible to claim that the current warming rate, or even the rate ending in the 2nd warmest year, unprecedented? ??? There is no doubt that the planet is warming, but the doomsday predictions of unprecedented warming rates are not backed up by factual evidence. Maybe it's time to tone down the rhetoric a bit eh?

its amazing to me that all of these sources are also liberal. there is a book out called "The Hundred People who are Screwing up America." it is a very non partisan book, according to the author Bernard Goldberg, both liberals and conservatives are ruining America. This is not Mr. Goldberg's first book. he wrote one a while ago called "Bias: a CBS insider exposes how the media distort the news." there is a part of this book in which a former CBS intern explains how a certain star anchorman manipulated census reports to his whim to help out liberals or hurt conservatives. it actually has a quote in which said star anchor man says "I will never report anything that will help Conservatives" my point is not that CBS is any worse than anyone else. just that all news outlets are biased, and really so what. the libs have CBS NBC and ABC, they also have the New York Times, USA Today, and most every other major news sources. the conservatives have FOX and talk radio. that is about it. none of them are more biased than any other. and people should actually research the term yellow journalism, it was a phrase coined for the liberal media by conservatives of the time. but if you watch only CBS ABC and NBC you would never no that. I pity anyone who only watches one news channel, it makes you stupid and uninformed, and then you have no ability to actually back up your arguments. but when you research actual unbiased outlets (usually found online) and watch both liberal and conservative media, than you are truly informed and are intelligent enough to back up your arguments. i hope the author of this question will do the same.

First of all, to the person that states Bernie Goldberg is a moderate, please do more of that research you speak of, he's most definitely a conservative...As to the ratings answers, here's a hint why Fox is number 1, If you have 7 news stations all reporting the news as it happens factually and one that slants all its coverage to the tilt of the say 40% of the conservatives in this country, would you not expect the 1 that gets 40% to end up with better ratings then the 7 that have to split the remaining 60%? Plus we live in a world full of morons who love sensationalism and tabloid news, and i would bet my bottom dollar that if you compared Fox daily programming to CNN(having watched both a real lot), you see far more sensationalism on Fox by far...My only problem with Fox News is that they are allowed to call themselves that, it should be considered false advertising, but watching Hannity, O'Reilly and John Gibson make things up as they go is quite entertaining. Remember, according to Fox, people who love the troops are the ones who want to keep them in harms way and take away their VA benefits, the ones that hate them are the ones that want to remove them from harms way, make sense to anyone else, the Democrats HATE the troops based on the fact that they want them out of harms way, how does that make sense to any rational human being...

I'm assuming that you must watch Fox News as much as the people you are trying to humiliate. If not, then how do you know so much about the programing of Fox News? Also, please inform those who do happen to watch Fox News of the "many sources to back" your claim up. If you can prove it, and by doing so turn just one Fox viewer away, is it not worth it?

What you and your tovarischi on the left fail to grasp is that there is a difference between the news and political commentary. Bill O'Reilly never purported to be a reporter. He is a political commentator. Commentators commentate. That's what they do. Kind of like Keith Olbermann, you know: the guy you all seem to believe presents Mankind with tablets from the Almighty every night.

If there are so many sources then list them. I watch Fox News exclusively. I know I am going to get both sides of the story.
