I'm having a dilemma. I'm almost finished with my senior year of high school and I'm not exactly sure what I want to do. Calling all doctors out there: How was your med school experience? Can I succeed in the medical field even though I don't excel in math and science? Any advice?

You can certainly succeed in medical school even if you haven't done so well in math and science in high school. But first, you need to get a pre-med or biology degree from a 4 year college.

You might need to catch up on any skills that you haven't mastered in high school. Remember that most colleges have tutoring programs and professors have office hours. Don't be shy about asking for help if you don't understand what's been covered in class... and don't wait until the day before a test to go for tutoring.

Also, you don't have to know what you want to do when you enter college. I have friends who entered college Pre-Med and graduated with English degrees. Find something that you love to do and stick with it.

I am a med school drop out, and I was all A's in high school so I really don't think your math and science grades should keep you...
Keep in mind you can do what ever you want to do.
A word of advice now...never forget that no one can make you feel inferior with out your consent (E. Roosevelt said that) as a med student you need to think about it 24/7

I am a senior too...But the thing is you will have 2 more years to think about it because of your GE(General Education). Same here I want to become a doctor but at the same time I want to be a Pilot so I am trying to find my place.

I truly think, if u want it bad enough you will get it. If that's what you want to do go for it. You may have a harder time then others, but this only means that you should try that much harder
