Did anyone fall in love with Joss Whedon's third TV series and subsequent movie spin-off? I sure did. I would love to hear any comments or opinions, especially about the crew of "Serenity" if you feel like sharing!

Ah, Firefly. Loved that show. Not my absolute favorite show but it's definitely a classic. I could watch all the time if it was on more.

And Serenity is amazing. Sad at the end but very good. I got my dad hooked on it. ^_^

Well, there is an MMORPG in the works and Joss Whedon has confirmed that he is going to write another Firefly series of comics due out next year. There is a Browncoat cruise that is underway for the end of the year. Thats about it for the 'verse, but Whedon is working on his "Goners" movie, Nathan Fillion will be on Tim Minear's "Drive" coming in April to Fox, Adam Baldwin is on "Day Break" on ABC.com, and Summer Glau is going to be on "The Sarah Conner Chronicles" and currently has recurring roles on "The Unit" and "The 4400".

Yes, I really enjoyed Firefly and the movie, Serenity. It was really a bummer that the series didn't get better recognition. The characters were well developed, and was easy to get to know. They became friends that were welcome in my home on a weekly basis. The situations were a little odd... but, thats how life is on the edge.
I still invite them to visit... the DVD's are a nice way to visit.
Maybe one day, we'll get a new movie.

Yep, very good show. The movie was cool too except most of the characters died!

Apparently there's a MMO (massively multiplayer online) game being made based on the series before the movie is set.

I absolutely adored "Serenity" -- thought it to be a completely original and engaging movie.

Now I'm determined to watch "Firefly", as well... and I'm positive it'll be just as good. The guy who plays the captain, Nathan Fillion, is becoming one of my favorites. He was also in "Slither" and an episode of "Lost", if you had the chance to see him.

I gotta find someplace that sells the seasons of DVD!

;)
