Has anyone experienced the same? It seems to be more of a trend than I thought. It's not talked about, but it happens a lot.

I am deeply sorry to hear about that. You just gotta take it one day at a time, and know it's not anything you can control anymore..it's out of your hands. Connect with other family members and grieve. Keep your head held high and continue on with this life you were given.

Well the thing is they are definitely with you. When one commits suicide they become a ghost for a very long time. We are not this body, we are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. The best way to help the loved one is to play The Harek Krishna Maha Mantra Music or Japa mantra loudly so they can hear it and they can move on to their next life so they can make more progress in their next life. The way to go on is to realize reality. To understand Karma and reincarnation, and the soul and our purpose as human beings. Any misery is the impetus to self realization. Want more info. go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita As it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells the purpose of human life and all of the above and more. It will help tremendously.

Stuff happens,& suicide can be some of it. But no matter WHAT happens, life rumbles on...- And you just have to take a deep breath, pick up the pieces- and go on with it. The only choices we are responsible for- are our own. If someone decides to end their life- it's no ones fault, and no ones responsibility. All one can do, is remember the nice things about the person who left us- and remember to never, EVER, take anyone for granted... Because the reality IS, any given moment- can change all things. And you never know which one might be the one that changes your life...

Yes it is unfortunate that those who commit suicide seldom realize that they are loved and thought of often, even after they are gone.

The best you can do for yourself is to accept their decision (after all it was their's and their's alone) and keep them in your heart and thoughts.

Spend a few days mourning.. or weeks.. or months.. or years...

but, in that time you need to do more than your share to make up for the mistake your friend made...

help others
