Because most lovers don't find the time to really show their appreciation to their signifigant other for the next 364 days. I guess it is a reminder to show the people that you love that you care.

Not considering that a Poor Bishop - St. Valentine was Killed for secretely Marrying people against the King's Orders. And we celebrate it Joyfully.

I think Valentine's Day is a load of crap. People go all out for it just to show how wonderful they are, and then act like sh** the rest of the year.

Yup the corparte people needed a hoilday between X-mas and Easter to sell more goods cause sales where down between the two hoildays !!!!

hahah no I think V-day is just overrated. It makes those singles out there even more depressed and those that are together waste their money. I really don't think that someone needs to show how they feel only on that one day; it seems a bit pointless.

another halmark type holiday that is made up of business men in suits to take money from men who their women make them buy them gifts they dont need nor probably use
