Spot on number one. Thanks.

IF we GIVE "YOU" the asker, the STORY, then it would be a lie to cause the audience to believe it is IMPROV.

I suggest, even if you are Young, you have real life experiences you can relate, that were/are "funny" to you at least, and you won't have to READ or memorize any you might have offered here. That isn't a promise that the audience will find your tale "funny" but it may help your presentation.

I'm going to assume you know the definition of "Improv"?

With all due respect the grand idea of ANY performance is to "engage" the audience, even if they forget the situation after they've left the venue.

Most embarrassing moment would be good. An audition story would also be good. Telling a story about a child or elderly family member would also work, I'd think. Definitely take it from your own experience. Try thinking about the stories you tell your friends. You know when you first meet someone and it's like you have these stock stories you tell for them to get to know you a bit?

One time at band camp I ran up a tree and flew to the stars. While I was amongst the "stars" I saw Brad Pitt and he was talking about how he was going to leave Jennifer for Angelina. Then I saw Bill and Hillary and she was telling him that she did not have enough of the White House while he was in office, so she was going to become President and turn our Country in a better direction. Hillary also said that she was going to have an affair with an intern. I saw so many "stars" that night! Then I fell into the lake and swam with the mermaids until I had to go to trumpet class.

Stories about yourself are the best. Tell a story about something you did that made you look like a complete and utter dork. Audiences love that kind of thing, because it makes you look approachable and human.

You should tell a story about something that happened to you. A friend of mine once did a monologue about a time when her friend thought he could down some super hot, hot sauce that she had. He put his face in the toilet.
