I am 2 months and three weeks pregnant, I am sure I felt the baby today it felt like an octopus moving, only a couple of seconds then it came back, it wasn't air, or collic or cramps it was a swish like tickling sensation.. Do you think it is possible to feel the baby so early?

11 weeks approximate? yes, it is very possible that was the baby... do not doubt that internal feeling, that voice telling you that you felt your baby! we all feel our babies differently, at different times... and with each pregnancy? yes, different again!! :)

you describe perfectly what a tiny little baby would feel like, in my opinion..... I felt my first at 12-14weeks, second 11-13 weeks, third I know I felt 10 weeks, knew there were two as well..... bless their tiny souls....... and same with the rest, ten weeks into pregnancy, there was that tiny thing... and each time I would wait after those few seconds... to see if it happened again... holding my breath.... the last two, I took the test After feeling the baby...lol... you want small?! I know how small they are then... not only do you feel doubt from inside, but people around you... well don't..... you will see.... might be days or more but you will feel it again... and then again... and then closer and closer and bigger! ;)

not only was I able to prove it to me? I proved it to the dr. who would ask me at ten to eleven weeks if I could feel the baby, where was it.. I was able to tell him where the baby was (and so he could find and hear the heart early) I also told him, and he checked via ultrasound, where the baby was laying (squirming back or front, high or low) the placenta(where it was implanted) and as we got further along? I was able to tell how the baby was laying.... it is just a matter of paying attention...or as my mom always said? how in "tune" you are to yourself... to the internal you....

so, to the naysayers? ignore them.... and enjoy.... these early weeks are a very private time with you and your baby being the only two who can share it! those weeks will be flying for a little while and before you know it? everyone will want to touch the belly and share your moments.... :)

Some moms can feel their baby move as early as 13-16 weeks. These first fetal movements are called quickening and are often described as flutters. It may be difficult to determine whether this feeling is gas or your baby’s movements, but soon you will begin to notice a pattern. First-time moms may not feel these movements as early as second-time moms. Some moms, especially those in their first pregnancy, may not feel movement until 18-20 weeks. Remember that each woman and each pregnancy is different, so you may not feel movement as early as another woman. There is a broad range of when the first detection of movement can be felt, ranging from 13-25 weeks.

For a first time pregnancy, it's very unusual to feel the baby before 16 weeks. Most likely 20 weeks will be the time you'll feel the baby move. For my THIRD baby, I didn't feel it till 14 weeks. So, I would say it was your stomach digesting. It's definately too small, but congratulations, and you just have a few weeks left before you'll really feel the kicks :)

You wont feel the baby until at least 16 weeks. The average is 18-22 weeks. It was probably gas... sorry.

I guess if you did feel it then it is, but usually pregnant women don't feel the baby until 4 or 5 months...or its just in you mind, but hey I could be wrong.

right now your baby is only about 1-2 inches from crown to rump and weighs about 1/3 oz.....I know you want to feel it really bad and I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it was probably gas. I am 15 weeks and just starting to feel mine. Give it a few weeks, you'll know it when you feel it. Congrats!

at around 5 months your abdomen is often commencing as much as replace into sufficiently vast for others to word. yet all and sundry is diffrent and it certainly relies upon on you physique typ and the style you're wearing. Mine purely confirmed at 6 months and as quickly because it did coach, it by no potential appeared to quit increasing! you would be able to desire to very nicely be feeling the 1st flutters of existence. the two my sons gave me flutters at around 4 months, at 5 months you may sense definate kick on the interior and at around 6 months your significant different would desire to be waiting to sense it while he places his hand on your abdomen.
