atleast by this i think the children below the poverty level may atleast have a meal once a day becoz they are very much reqd for celebrating the PLATINUM JUBILEE & 100th independence day .

India will exist beyond the so called wealthy nations my friend, U know if we keep concentrating on what we lack and compare to nations which have achived independence 250 years before us, we will always find us behind. But look at it we are now revered and respected beyond doubt, we are at peace with every one in the world. This itself will mean we will be one of the richest nation in 2020 if not the richest.
The only difficulty will be to guide that money to the lower strata of the nation's downtrodden, this can be achived with a conscious effort by every one who is eleigible and yeah with the active participation of NGO's like CRY, ArtofLiving Foundation etc.

Hi,
If you think by becomming wealthy India is going to be on top perhaps it is misleading.
It is certainly important to get every one below the P- line a meal atleast by then.
How we achieve wealth also matters. If you kill others and grab wealth and have unfair trade and amass wealth or use negative means one can be wealthy soon. What happens with that is one starts loosing oneself to stress. Stress is a great invisible killer that penetrates into every area of life and manages to take away the joy of life.
So you have acquired all the wealth but you can't enjoy it truely. So what do you do?
Wealth and Health have to go togeather.To get them both you need a new attitude that is good for you and others.
That is what we had in the old times in plenty, now you have to earn it again.By starting with oneself all over again.Perhaps with the right attitude it should all be possible.

Before expecting we should do some action to address the problems faced by the country. Yes we are doing well in IT, but it is'nt sufficient. We need to urgently address the problems of overpolpulation, unemployment, povery, corruption, politics etc.
I do not say that these problems are unsurmountable, but we should address these problems, find a solution, implement the solution. India has enough wealth today, concentrated in a few hands, that can bring all indians to a respectable economic level, if distributed evenly. I don't mean we snatch from the rich and distribute to the poor. We should induce the rich, to start enterprises so that the poor get employments, and work their way to remove poverty. The govt. should easily give licences to enterprising people without corruption, with an aim to improve India.
India has all the resources and finances needed, but the govt. and the people are generally lazy and corrupt. We need more flexibility and less corruption in the govt. to bring India to the basket of rich nations, India has the potential, but does it have the will to really improve and become rich ?
