Where can I get a good dress for a dance?

I have a school dance this month, and I need to know where I can get a casual dress. The only thing is that it has to be black or white. If you could tell me what store or the exact dress would be great, but you don't have to.

Molly listed a lot of good stores. Try Macys or Nordstorm. They have a ton of dresses. Some are casual but u have to look hard for them since they arent in very high demand

i would go to anthropologie, they have tons of really pretty springish dresses. White house black market could have some black and white ones too, or nordstroms. Betsie Johnson and Jessica Mclintock have a little more formal dresses too. Good luck! hope i helped!

try your local department store such as Wal-mart. Most of the time they carry a lot of black and white dresses.

Nordstroms has great dresses, casual and fancy
i found a TON of black ones not so many white ones though
but i think black is always nice especially for a dance
