THE GUY I HAVE A CRUSH ON IS ALSO MY BEST FRIEND'S BROTHER! What do I do? I like him and e-mail him sometimes, and I think he's okay with me and likes me a bit, but he's my BEST FRIEND'S brother!! What should I do?? He's also a grade older than me, but he's really playful and nice.

I'm REALLY close to my best friend... (She's my BEST friend... :D) ... We do like everything together... Eat lunch, play basketball, whatev, walk around school, laugh together, play together, yeah...
And her brother? He also plays basketball so... :D, and he's in the band, as am I, so I see him a lot... We (all three of us) also play in the symphony orchestra, the beginning band (to help out beginners), marching band, and symphonic band, so we all know each other really well...

Also, I'm not really the type of person to "Just ask him out" or something cuz I'm not exactly Joan of Arc, (Aka: I'm not brave... more on the shy side), so yah... I just want to be really good friends, but my friend might feel uncomfortable with that cuz she's a little sister, she has an older brother...
...and ah, well, u no how things usually go with older brothers and younger sisters :) :P

Well if all u want to be is friends...and you two are already friends...then there shouldn't be a problem. Acting all guilty about it just gonna make u look like ot ur friend as if its something more than just wanting to be friends with him. Besides, who hasn't crushed on their best friend's brother!! But i mean, how old r u?? must be young cause this can be handled maturly even if u wanted to date him, so just hang out with him as usual, maybe setting up more things to do together and just act natural, things will blossom where they see fit. dont force anything. just keep it natural and easy going.

Ask your friend first. If he/she is ok with it go for it. If not,leave the brother alone for awhile. Maybe you'll find someone that YOUR BFF is ok with :]
