I've got an 86 Trans Am and I would like to get some specs on it, but most websites that give specs do not go that far back. So does anyone know where I can find some accurate specs for this car?

What you do is get the Haynes Repair Manual for your Year and model of vehicle at Auto Zone, or another automotive repair shop. The manual will show you what and how to do the repairs.

Depending what kind of Specs your looking for.

You can go to a Pontiac Dealer in the Parts Department and tell them what Specs your looking for and they might be able to give you a print out at no charge. library will help also.

If you would have listed the specs your looking for it could have been a little more Helpful.

What specific "specs" are you looking for? Performance? Engine and gears? Since both the Camaro and Firebird are F bodies they will share a lot of things. Here is a website that may have what you're looking for.

i own a repair shop, and your right there are not many good sites on one that old, your best bet might be to get a good Haynes repair manual for it,this maybe the only way to get good accurate information even some of the info found on the net now isn't that accurate anymore ,the manual may be a good idea, good luck,i hope this help,s.
