Try speaking up more in class. What's the worst that can happen?

I think the answer you are looking for is contained right in your question; because you never speak! I doubt your teacher doesn't like you, it's more likely that she doesn't know you very well because you don't participate. You don't have to become a chatterbox to participate but ask/answer something every day. Pretty soon, you'll feel more comfortable speaking and maybe then you'll get a medal. Good Luck

Why do you think the teacher should give you a medal? What is the criteria for earning the medal?

Maybe it has nothing to do whether the teacher likes or dislikes you. Maybe it has to do with merit.

Maybe part of the medal requirements is classroom participation.

Why would you possibly want a medal?

If you want one, make one yourself, and stick it on your clothing.

10,000 years from now, every person alive today will be dead, rotted away to nothing, and entirely forgotten. That oughta put the whole medal thing into perspective.
