For instance, what kind of girl do you automatically picture when you hear the name Jennifer?

What about the name John? Do you automatically think of a guy with brown hair, slightly over weight, with a nice personality? (Thats my mental image when I hear the name.)

The name Ashley, for instance, makes me think of a young cute blonde girl.

The name Amy makes me think of a quiet, shy conservative girl.

Name some of your name stereotypes?

When I hear Jennifer I think of my best friend.
When I hear John the song "John-jacob-jinglehighmer-shmitt" plays in my mind
When I hear Ashley I think of my bestest friend before she moved away =(
When I hear Amy I think of my big sisters' hilarious friend, Amy. I think name stereotypes depend on what you are used to. When people hear the name Emily, most think of a sweet little brunette. I think of my demon of a little sister.

usually it's just with people i know. like if it's someone i hate, i hate their name.
for example, rachael. i used to know a rachael and she was a real b*tch! so i hate the name rachael now.
