I've been married for 2 years....why is it such a pain for my husband to give me a body rub?

I thought MOST men like this sort of thing???

Tell him no more blow(j)obs until he gives you a massage once in a while and you give him one back. Or that you plan to find another guy to give you one and will pay him to do it (smiling and joking...) That should get him off his backside and into your bedroom for the massage.

Because no matter what happens afterwards, it is still work. I enjoy riding my bicycle through the mountains, but only to an extent. Beyond that, it feels like hard work, and not a joy.

Remember, that not everyone like massages or body rubs. And certainly more people like getting them than giving them.

Suggestions; 1. If he can't stand it, stop asking. 2. Get a table so that it's physically easier on him, the same way massouses (sp?) do it. 3. Reciprocate 4. Reciprocate. 5. If he can't stand it, stop asking.

I as a guy am a lot more willing to give a woman what she wants if she does not demand it or nag. I usually won't do it immediately, but I will eventually do it.

I have the same problem been married 4 yrs and have gotten maybe 3 body rubs ever! I think men just like to be pampered more than they like to pamper us. lol I really think its a man thing. Most men like to receive rather than give. I think they like it better when they know they will get something in return. Guys are just such nerds sometimes.

You have to spice it up. Tease him with what you want for a while. Maybe when he's sitting on the sofa watching tv, massage his shoulders for a minute or two then walk away. I dread giving massages if I think it has to be for a long time. Don't make a big deal out of it. Make him feel special then he may get to a point where he wants to make you feel special too by doing what you like. This may take a few days or weeks but he'll come around. You have to figure out his love language.

My husband went with the aid of a piece like this as quickly as we've been first married. He reported after some long and complicated (haha) "what the hell is erroneous with me" talks with himself, he found out that it became taking some psychological adjustment to being married. He reported that it became unusual for the 1st time in his existence - he regarded at different women persons in a different way, and it freaked him out. He no longer needed to heavily F each lady he regarded at (he's very easy.) he reported that he would now seem at different women persons, completely say -"rattling she is wonderful - theory approximately it - yet did no longer truly need to actual ever do anythign approximately it anymore. ...he became luckily married and did no longer prefer any ego strengthen or bs that got here with the chase anymore. And for some people even being luckily married is scarey. My factor - he would desire to be completely attracted to you and happy - and questioning "geez - that's suitable, and weeeeirdddd." and all that thinking is a *****-kill for men for the duration of the act....even no remember if this is frequent stable ideas. :)

Ask him why he doesn't want to give you a message. It could be that he probably thinks that he can't/wont do it right. If that's the case go to your local library and checkout some message books. There are several different techniques on how to do so. Different message oils and everything. Communication is the key. Good Luck.

I have been married for 5 years and have the same problem. Men only want one thing... I couldn't get my husband to rub my back, feet, or legs and I was 8 months preg. with our daugher. Men just don't have a clue sometimes.

Because EVERY man is different. Just like every woman is different. Just because SOME men like something doesn't mean they ALL do. Maybe you should try GIVING him a body rub first. That might put him in a better mood...

The pain is caused probably because of the size of the surface he has to rub, there is probably not enoughbaby oil in the world to hose you down. The other cause of pain is the embarrasment for being married to a blue whale. now know your role stop complaining and get in the kitchen make your man a sandwich grab him a beer, that small excersize may help you walk some roles of your beluga sized legs.

Maybe he's one of those guys who just doesn't like to. I've had the inverse of your problem where I offered and it wasn't taken. Have you tried a compromise as in "Hey, I do _____ for you and you give me a body rub?"
