Whats the name of the classical song that Nella Daren (played by Wendy Hughes) plays in the episode "Lessons"? She plays the song for a few seconds after she and Picard are in the jefferies tube intersection where the acoustics are "perfect".

Guest officer and pianist Nella Daren affords two chances to hear the classics in "Lessons": Chopin's "Trio" in G minor, with Ensign Cheney and Data, while she and Picard tackle Bach's "Third Brandenburg Concerto" (studied by Data in "A Matter of Time") in their own lone Jefferies tube duet.

Don't they play the theme from the "Inner Light" episode. I don't remember 100%, but I do know that the flute that makes its appearance here is presumably the same from the Inner Light episode in which Picard lives an entire lifetime in the span of a few minutes. Along the way he learns to play the flute very well. The flute is then returned to him back in his REAL life and he plays the tune again during the final scene. It is a simple, but hauntingly beautiful tune.

I believe he also hesitates when asked how long he's been playing...because it was actually for a lifetime. I'm not 100% sure, but don't they play the same song again? If so, I just assumed it was a piece that was composed for the show. After all...it is pretty short.

No, I'm not some crazy Star Trek freak....I just loved the Inner Light episode so much, and I remembered this episode because it referenced that one.
