What would you call a room in a castle where people just chill?

Like a room where there is a fireplace and chairs. People just hang around and relax. Did they call them living rooms back then?

Library... Drawing room...

Perhaps it was called a parlor.

Gandolf Gnu is probably right. 'Drawing room' or 'sitting room.'
