You don't want to know. Most of the popular people do things that aren't exactly should we say healthy to be doing at a young age. It doesn't really matter in life who was popular in Middle School. Most of the popular people end up with the same or worse issues in adulthood. Focus on something more important than being popular. Just think... You could be a doctor one day and be taking care of one of the popular girls. She'll thank you then! Trust me on this one!

OK well first of all just let me tell you once your popular if your smart your not gunna want it anymore cuz no one is loyal or true friends they just seem like it. But the thing that got me SUPER popular when I was in middle school was this, I saw everyone wearing hollister and abercrombie and fitch and it make me see to see all the clones so I went the total oposite and dressed vintage\punk and it worked out really well everyone was like wow your so brave your soo kewl and confident with your self bla bla bla but thebig thing is being confident with yourself but don't get too hooked on the "freinds your meet" they aren't the greatest. also a good place to shop for vintage clothing are forever 21 and wetseal they have pretty outrageous stuff but if you put them togeather the right way it works oh and wear pacsun skinny jeans! good luck! oh and also trying out for like student body president and stuff like that helps too!

Be confident, revolutionize yourself, and let popularity find you, but honestly I wouldn't even do it. I'm in middle school too and going through that because: I am myself, that is me. At first I thought it would be cool, but now it's a drag and I cant get flirty boys away from me. Besides when your popular u have fans NOT freinds. (and surely you must have a few good freinds anyway - And I dont make freinds that easy -)

Become the slut of the school that always works jk. Any ways now in days it doesn't matter if your the popular girl with money, you only have to be out going and in activities people always remember when your in dance or in outstanding classes and more if your pretty, smart, and all ways being yourself.

Look good but not slutty.
Be on one sports or athletic team.
Be friendly to everyone, even geeky losers.
Don't encourage other popular kids to harrass other kids.
Pick one, good after-school activity besides sports, if available.
Do your own thing, don't be a sheep and follow other people!

It is not a matter of worry.
You have to provide some skill. you have to a fresh mind with helping hand. You have to be a good student or a performance in cultural show or your beauty will make you popular.
here you do not need too much money.
