Multiple both sides by 30 and follow your nose, and it will be easy.

2x/3 -5/3 -3/2 = x/5 +4/5
2x/3 - x/5 = 4/5 + 5/3 + 3/2
10x/15 - 3x/15 = 24/30 + 50/30 + 45/30
7x/15 = 119/30
x=119/30 * (15/7)
= 17/2
