Welll...I like to try imagining I'm my fiance opening her eyes and looking at the present I'm buying for her.

Put yourself in that position. Its the romantic holiday, you open your eyes and see in front of you a thickly leafed shiny green plant. 'Oh, is this an aloe vera plant?' she wonders. Is her next reaction

a) Oh My God, an aloe vera plant!! You've been listening! I love you, lets go make passionate love on the floor.

b) Hey neat, I've always wanted one of these

c) Was only Walmart open?

d) Blank stare

If you answered anything other than a), you're going in the wrong direction.

Even if you can't afford somethign more, spend a few hours and make something heartfelt that she'll appreciate. Hell, even buy some construction paper, some scissors and some glue and make a multipage card that tells a story about how you met.

I think that it shows your love and concern for your fiance's health. Aloe Vera can be used for many medicinal purposes such as, on burns, rashes, cuts, scrapes as well as peeled and blended with water to make Aloe Vera juice which is good for your whole body.

If you are her hunka, hunka, burning love for Valentine's Day, I say a Aloe Vera plant will soothe the after burns.
Just do it.....practical and useful living gift.

Should you accidentally burn her with candlewax during hot playtime the aloe vera will come in handy.

It's not the most romantic present in the world, but if she gets sunburnt, she will really appreciate it!

Give her some chocolates and a nice card too.
