The SmartForFour is not being made, and the Smart SUV, which I was waiting for, it also not being made, unfortunately, but the SmartforTwo is getting a nice redesign and a slightly longer wheelbase.

I have not heard that the Forfour or any other of the Smart line is coming to the US. I would think DaimlerChrysler would wish to test the market waters with the ForTwo before jumping into the US market with a more complete line of vehicles. Consumer Reports tested a Canadian ForTwo Passion with the 40hp diesel engine. It cost $21,900.00 US (Wow!). The "starts at" price quoted for a ForTwo Passion in the UK is about 8,200 UK Pounds or about $15,900 US. With options and the fluctuating currency exchange rate, the out-the-door-price could be much higher. In the UK, the ForFour price "starts at" 10,400 UK Pounds or about $20,200.00 US.
