I have nVidia gForce...128MB vid card...any clues, ideas?

maybe your monitor cannot handle high res...check out the manufacture's website.

You are going to have to install the drivers from your nVidia card. Hope you have the CD - if not go to their website and download the drivers.

Uninstall the present drivers first - then install the nVidia drivers.

not a fix but a work-around.

get resolution changer from here: http://www.12noon.com/products.htm

copy it to your windows directory

create a shortcut to it in StartUp

modify the shortcut to something like this:
"c:\windows\reschange.exe" -width=1600 -height=1200 -depth=max

make sure to only use settings your videocard can handle!

You are applying and ok after you set it in appearences and themes are'nt you?Should stay set once you set it,never seen it change before.New one on me.
