I am 25 year old guy and I lost a bet with my gf. I now have to dress up as a traditional Indian woman without any help from her. What do I need to have? Pls advice and suggest how I go about it. I want to make a good effort at it and not be accused of doing a shoddy job.

I guess then saree would be the best option. Do u think make up and jewellry would also be required?

Silk saris are quite expensive. Take a look at this site which has synthetic saris for a reasonable amount. Browse around, it has good photos of various types of Indian clothing for women.
