intel 945 original; motherboard is very much better for intel 2.3.4ghz processor

No one can help you cause a Intel core2 3.4ghz has not been made yet.


As for any Intel core2 you can go with ASUS like I have for my personal gaming PC but I also had great results using 2 Gigabyte motherboard for office. .The CPU temperatures on the Gigabyte were like 28 c ASUS 40c.

There is no Core 2 processor that's 3.4GHz at stock. Unless you're talking about overclocking, you probably mean Pentium D. This: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138037 is supposed to be a good board at a great value if you want to overclock. Other good OC'ing boards start at $150. If you're not planning to overclock, that's still a good board, but you can get a less expensive one that's compatible with your CPU and save some money.

evga, asus, gigabyte, msi

same with the others theres no 3.4ghz for core 2 duo probably 2.4ghz or something

ASUS mobos are the ones that most builders like to use. They are very stable.
