reactions to the game?

Finally, they need to keep this up. Maybe win the rest of the games this year and make it in the playoffs. They are my favorite team. Go Flyers!!!

Well, I cant' speak for everybody, but My reaction was a bit of a wow. But when I looked at the game closer, it was less of a shock. The flyers have been playing much better lately, and the Wings are on a backup goaltender and were tired from the Calgary game. jet lag too...
It was a perfect storm.

Hasak and Osgood were both out for the Wings, so they were using their 3rd string goalie
Even Fedoreck scored, that to me shows the inability of their goaltender
All in all, the Flyers did play their best game all year, but I'm not going to start planning a Cup Parade just yet
Two in a row at home seems monumental for the Flyers, but in the real world, it really isn't that much of a noteworthy feat

Nothing special. I bet $20 with my brother that Philly was going to win.. Hasek hurt, Leighton actually has a good record as a third string goalie. I also had that feeling that it was time to show an upset. This is also because 95% of the people who bet on the game (A lot of people bet on it since it was the only game, and everyone was going to focus on it because it was on Versus, national television) bet on Detroit for obvious reasons. R.J. Umberger got 2 goals.. which shows how HORRIBLE MacDonald is. Umberger can score as many goals as he wants, but will always be remembered forrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. the hit :). Brian Campbell > R.J. Umberger. Sabres > Red Wings, Stanley Cup, and it's 9:06 am in school, so now I'm done!

looks like some swedish guy from the flyers wanted to look good so he can go to a contender, some other hopefuls from the flyers that want to be traded didn't look half bad either, i'd say esche will be gone before the deadline as well, niity will be the starter next year and leighton will be the back up. the flyers need to revamp their team

Wow! the Flyers FINALLY won a game. Let's plan the parade route for the Stanley Cup parade!!! They sure did stomp the Wings butts--they got lucky.

I love the Red Wings.... I suppose everyone has to lose sometimes. How are the Flyers doing this season? I know Detroit's doing pretty well.

yeah i saw that...it shocked me..if the red wings won they would have been tied wioth the sabres for first in the league while the flyers are dead last....woah if i was about 50 years older i might have had a heart attack
