With the right software.
This is what I use :
Active WebCam captures images up to 30 frames per second from any video device including USB, analog cameras, TV-boards, camcorders, and from network IP cameras.
The program performs simultaneous recording and broadcasting from unlimited number of cameras.

What do you mean by saying record all things in a whole day? You mean you want to go around the whole day with your video camera? Or place your camera in one spot and let it record automatically? Each one has its own software. You have to find out which one you want to do and get the respective software for your pc. Rest is up to you.

it relatively is relatively obtrusive you haven't any longer have been given a clue approximately cameras. $500 won't get you a dslr digital camera to checklist the two stills and video - you go with a minimum of $650 and as much as many 1000's. I advise you do extra learn formerly certainly searching for a digital camera so which you already know what you're asking.

There are software who help download a camera content to your HDD (HARD DISK DRIVE). First you download USB driver of your video camera from your camera manufacturer's web site & Install it on your computer. Now you can attach your video camera via USB. You can import your video with the window application "Movie Maker".
As movie maker is a bit complex you can use another software Namely win dvd creator3 or Blaze Media Pro. Blaze media is simple & effective. You can find those software on www.softarchive.net. You can download it foe free.
