Apart from what you list the essential difference was one of attitude.
Victorian life was characterized by rigid class and social rules and the then queen embodied these .She had ruled for 60 years and on her death and the accession of her son,Edward,it was felt that something of a dour period had come to an end and the new, young King marked the time for change and a lightness of mood.
Late Victorian architecture was often mock gothic in appearance and there was a movement away form this to a lighter-less heavy style and this was reflected in furniture design
The mood of the British people was further enhanced with the ending of the second Boer war in South Africa and whilst social codes still remained strict there was a growing awareness of the disadvantaged.
This is the time when British Socialism took its first steps and enlightenment encouraged the suffragette movement which was ultimately to bring about votes for women.
There was greater accent on leisure pursuits especially outdoor activities and this marked a great change in fashion-especially women's undergarments -(as they were called) which became far less constricting.
The Edwardian period is generally accepted to run until the first world war-which incidentally began in the reign of George V- in 1914

Victorian was when Queen Victoria reigned. Edwardian was when her son Edward reigned. I think Victoria died in 1902. She reigned for about 60 years, so most of the changes of the Industrial revolution happened in her reign. The defining event of the Edwardian era was World War I. There was a halcyon decade or so from when Edward came to the throne that must have been (for people with lotsa money) possibly the best time ever to be alive.
