World of Warcraft is wonderful if you like RPG's. But you have to pay.

Battlefield 2 is my favorite

i also hear that battlefield 2142 is great as well its more futureistic though which is why i havent bothered getting it.

bf2 is practically a war simulator though
you earn ranks, badges metals and ribbons as you go. you can play with up to 32 people on your team and 32 people against you as well. for a total of 64. you can drive tanks, hummes, apcs, fly helicopters and jets drive boats. you can use mount LMG's and a variety of other things to your advantage as well. there are six kits you can choose from with their own special advantages:

Medic: heal and revive your team mates. (you can heal yourself too)

Support: supply everyone with ammo (you get to use LMG's as your primary weapons) in special forces expansion you can also use tear gas

Sniper: snipe and lay claymores

Spec Ops: Lay c4 to blow up important assets belonging to the other team as well as vehicles or infantry

Assult: make use of granade launchers, smoke granades, flash bangs

anti tank: shoot rockets at vehicles to blow them up.

in the Special forces expansion you can also make use of grappling hooks and zip lines.
