HONESTLY You do whatever makes you happy. l'm sorry l do not believe in all that Bible stuff. lt is a very old book and a lot of things have certainly changed since it was written. Everyone deserves to be loved and if you feel that will happen only by remarrying, then by all means do it. Just be happy, life is far too short not to be, make the most of your good life on this earth. Best of luck to you in the future .

when peter asks you if h=you had a good life, how are you going to respond? are you going to tell him that your life was miserable? such a waste

mistake are bound to be made and hopefully you have been cautious, 9 years cautious. finding the right person may take time or it may jump out in front of you without you even seeing it. give yourself a break . there are higher callings and the right one may be standing before you stop looking and enjoying life a little.

My religion does not preclude remarriage. My thinking is that God wants us to be happy and loved and that he would approve.

If your marriage ended due to adultery or if your ex is not a believer or a non-practicing believer then you are free to remarry.

God knows that we make mistakes and he forgives us for them.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrightousness.
