Darts is a sport. The throwing arm gets tired after throwing awhile esp if you are a serious player. No it isn't as physical as football or baseball but this doesn't rule it out as a sport.

Random people from countries all over the world...not professional/state sponsored athletes only should compete in a parody olympics.

I think that the competitors should throw the darts from ski-lifts at floating dart boards in water about thirty to forty feet below the lifts.

I don't think it should because Darts isn't a popular enough game. If Darts would have more players and more competition, then I don't see why not. but since its not very popular, the competition isn't tough enough for it to get a gold medal while others earn theirs through intense competition.
