I have a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim that is in dire need of a paint job. In the northern NJ area are there places that can do the job for about $99-$150?

i want to find these shops that do paint for 200 dollars! around here its around 1000 for basic spray with no trim masking. for a good paint job with all body work and prep, easily over $5000.

It depends the quality of shop you go to and how much work the car needs.Where I work a basic prep and paint starts around $1500.Good materials are EXPENCIVE,cheap materals don't hold up long.Cheak around and do some "shopping" and find the middle ground you want.

you can take it to maaco, but you had better have it prepped. All they will do it is scotchbrite, wipe it down, tape, and paint. Somebody told me they wouldn't even scotcbrite it. The lowest cost is 200 and you only have a choice of a very select few colors.

yeah! they can do it for that amount, but it probably will look even worse. if you plan on keeping the car pay a few more hundred & get a little bit better one. 500.00-1000.00. If not worth it then sell it AS-IS

Not likely... you would be better off doing it yourself for that amount of money. If it doesn't come out well you can always resand and try again
