I'm from Australia and I don't think the Iraq war will be the only reason our current leader will be tossed out at the end of this year. He's had a run of 10 years and I think people are ready for a change and new ideas regarding education, climate change, health ect. Most politicitans have maybe 10 years in them if they are very lucky and Howard has had his.

Italy changes governments like you and I change socks. This is literally their 37th (no exagerration http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Prime_Ministers_of_Italy) government since 1945.

Australian PM John Howard's Liberals (who are actually the conservatives in Australia) are expected to retain the government after elections this year.

I'd love to argue about Poland, but I' have to admit I haven't got a clue there.

Which leaves Spain. The Spanish PM is a latter day Neville Chamberlain. I only hope it doesn't take the same sort of reaction to appeasement which was required to dislodge Mr. Chamberlain to render the same effect on Senor Zapatero.
