My neighbor has a 12 foot anaconda snake, he is keeping it in his house.
He also has scorpions. Are these legal in the State of Michigan?
Just concerned for my children and other children in the neigborhood.

No in the state of michigan we are still free to be responsible adults without the government acting as a baby sitter to our pet choices. With that said how do you know its an anaconda? Does he walk around with it? have you seen it? Im not doubting you but they are not very common, which is why we dont need more rules to restrict our pet choices the idea is the high cost keeps most from getting one and if he has raised a 12 foot anaconda i woulds say he knows what he is doing. Yes scorpions are fine as pets also. infact most kept as pets are no more dangerous than a bee sting

Well, I would make sure that everyone in the neighbor hood knows about it including wildlife and game. And the police. I do not believe it is legal even with a permit in a residential area.
