Lets face it both are corrupt . However people cant get past all the political fighting , that those in power encourage. Everything happens for a reason and with a great deal of planning . This is true in the political spectrum as well. I think if people took a more critical view of both parties , we might actually have a true democracy .

RIGHT ON! Great way to start is to cut US Govt. by 50% which cuts off a lot power to both parties and also cuts down on the corruption which as you said is the main problem with US Govt. Though in strict one term term limits and there will be no more major problems with US Govt.

Up until the Reagan years this is exactly how we viewed one another. Then Reagan began the current liberal bashing that continues unabated to this day.
