I did a science fair project on this. My results were A. The judge thought I was a quack. Any comments?

I bet you have opened a can of worms. I too have given this quite a bit of thought. Of a dozen sets of twins I have known I had it calculated this way. 8 sets, A was the strongest, and B was a tad bit more intelligent. Being a twin I thought we fell in that pattern. It digging back I found My brother was the A, and I am the B. He was for sure smarter, but not as strong. So that put it back to 7 out of 12.

I believe the twin that was the most intelligent was the dominant one in all but 1 set. Of course what I call and you call dominant would enter in to it some.

A the leader in any thing physical, and B the boss under all other decisions.

In all scientific experiments, you have at least one test group and one control group...that way you can reduce bias and random error.
In experimental studies (esp. with people) this is more problematic.
In this case, you use a double blind system. This will help eliminate the 'placebo effect'.

The most important thing to remember in science is to keep an open mind! Science involves either proving or disproving a hypothesis. Not every result may be what you expect (in fact, many discoveries in science were quite accidental!). And whatever you do, keep lots and lots of notes...fortune favors the person who actually writes things down.

By genetic convention both of those letters denote dominance. If those are blood types, then they are co-dominate.

PS The first twin born over the second twin may be " dominate ", but not in the genetic sense. So, I am not quite sure what you are getting at.

Depends on your data and how you collected and presented it.
