How do you take off the front dash to replace the factory cd player in a 2001 pontiac grand am (2 dr monsoon)?

you dont need to take off your whole dash. you have to take the trim piece out around the radio with the hazard and TCS buttons on it. carefully pry it off. then unplug the 2 switchs. then turn your key to the fisrt possition, pull your parking brake, and pull your shifter all the way back. there are 3 screws that hold in the radio. if i remember right, you'll need a 7mm socket. take out the screws, pull the radio out, and unhook the wires from the back, and your done.
