I have been married 4 years and my husband will say he wants to spend time with me and our three children and then he does everything that is away from us, whether it be somewhere else or outside.

He doesn't want to spend time with you or the kids. He wants a life of his own. Get rid of him and find someone who wants to be near you and share a life with you.

to have kids I assume you spend some time together.
