In Bowser Valley (the last place you go) there is a castle in the middle of nowhere. How do you get to it? I can tell that it leads to the back door of Bowser's castle, i just can't remember where the secret is. PLease help!!!

I have had to start this game all over....I solved it 10 or 15 years ago & my son erased it.
I can't exactly remember how to get to the castle...but have you already found all the colored switches?

you need to go to the second world and get the secret passages through the water and stuff you will find a ghost house next to a pipe and a star that takes you to the star hevean. that pipe should take you to the place that leads to the back door to the castle im pretty sure. i may be wrong though. its been a while since ive played it.
take the alternate ending to the 1st stage of world 2. (it reqires that you have stepped on the blue switch.) then you should be able to run up a wall of blue exclamtion points

It's in the fortress below it. You need to hit the block, guide the coins up forming stairs. Also, you need a POW (which is in the the room to the left of it) turn the coins into blocks you can stand on. It's in the room with a block and when you hit it and turns to coins and you can control the direction by moving mario. Also, don't listen to "zach", he's thinking of the front door, which is just a shortcut.

You have to take Star Road to get there. In ever world there is a yellow star. Get to it, beat the level, and eventually you will get to the one that opens to that castle.

Get to the 2nd to last star in star world and it will take you there.
to get to star world you have to complet red levels by useing a key.
