i think so... The US simply cannot compete with China while fighting all the wars. USA overstepped their borders and it's having a terrible effect on the economy. Meanwhile the Chinese economy is growing from strength to strength and so is the Indian one. The US is becoming very unpopular around the world because of the wars and arrogance like people saying Americans are better than everyone esle. Eventually people in the US will get poor and unhappy and rebel against the Federal government in Washington. Then the US will break up.

I think as the USA being naive and being in our comfort zone...Yes.
Never will we have the peace we once had.Conflicts we get ourselves involved in,policing the world has cost us.Yet being the only real super power...small counties look for the USA.
We do have the roads paved to becoming a third world nation...God can only hope we take the right way in the fork in the road...but then again...we took God out of our schools etc...so who knows?

Yes.
There is no better way to say it.

And to Add on to Peanut Butter's answer
If This War continues Bush can say 'This is a dangerous time to Elect a New President.' and, bang, he'll be president until the war in Iraq ends. (which it won't)

No.

The U.S. is still a young country, but it is no longer in its childhood. Its more like a just-about-grown adult.

I think it is going through some additional growing pains and will come out more mature, stronger, and better.
