I just got off the phone (3 way call) with hubby and a lady that he's working on her car (Hubby is a mechanic) She didn't know I was on the phone. And she's saying ok love, talk to you later baby. She's from the south (NC). I'm speechless, I don't know if it was harmless, or if it was more serious? What do you think?
Also, they don't even really know each other... not that I know of. Help and thanks for your opinion.

I wouldnt worry about it. I am from Alabama and these are just terms of endearment. We use them all the time. And many times we will say it to other women as well. I mean mu mom even called her best female friends Love. So dont worry about it to much its just a southern thang LOL

Well, I call people "honey" and "sugar" because I'm from the south. However, if I were talking to someones husband, I would *try* not to.
If someone called my husband "baby", that would be another matter entirely. Baby is NOT an acceptable southern term of endearment between adults that don't know one another.

Just let it go for now. Because if it means nothing, you made a big deal over nothing but if you find out it means something, make a big deal out of it than.

sounds to me that he knows her more then he is letting on to. you might need to investigate what he is up to and who he is with. Noone that don't know you speaks to you like that and I don't care if she is from down south or not. How many times has he had to go there and you couldn't go. I don't trust it neither should you.

I think southerners talk like that to each other. Otherwise I'd probably sneak to her house and and totally destroy her car.

love may not be jelous, but id definately feel hurt. i think if it bothers u, and its someone who does it a lot, then u shud tell them how u feel nicely, they shud respect how u feel even if theur intentions were gud. also i wud make out with them to make myself feel better ♥*blushes*
