Truthfully, sometimes no. Unfortunately some women suffer from this throughout their whole pregnancy although most only suffer for a short time. Salty crackers and foods helped my stomach settle. Make sure she stays hydrated. My guess is within afew weeks she should be okay.

Unfortunetally your wife is at the peak weeks of morning sickness, between 8-12 weeks. After week 12 things should get better. Try black liccorice tea, or ginger tea. However if she isnt able to keep ANYTHING down make sure to call the doctor this could be more severe something called hyperemisis. Make sure that she drinks plenty of fluids dehydration can have a snowball effect when it comes to nasea and vomiting. The only other thing I can tell you is to also ask the doctor about trying phenergen or reglan, if those dont work maybe zofran (all anti-nasea medications)

Sucking on ginger candy help. If you could get to a asian grocery store, you can get instant ginger tea bags. Just add water. They are quite nice. Otherwise, buy fresh ginger, crushed it and boil it with water for maybe 15-20 mins, you should smell the fragrance and then remove the ginger and add brown sugar. The ginger tea bags are convenient. Alternately, suck on a sour/sweet plum which is available in hispanic store or asian store. This take getting use to. Might want to just try nibbling on it bit at a time. Crackles like saltine help. Eat some first thing in the morning. Congratulations!

Silence helps. :~) Just get some saltine crackers and sprite or water. It will pass. Its hard because when you are pregnant sick, even if you throw up, you still feel sick. Go buy the baby to be a new outfit and surprise your wife with it....she will think its cute and may forget her sickness for a couple minutes. Enjoy!

Ginger ale is good. My wife also used preggie pops. You can get them at some pharmacies, health stores, or Motherhood stores. She also had sea sickness bands that had pressure points on her wrists. Good luck to you and your family.
